A little more About Me

Hi! I’m Cristina. I’m a graphic designer and public relations student at Quinnipiac University, passionate about combining creativity with strategy.

I’m originally from Spain, and I came to the U.S. to play Division I field hockey. Sports have always been a huge part of my life, and I was a team captain for two years, which shaped my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. That experience inspired me to stay connected to the sports world through design, storytelling, and media.

I started to become interested in marketing, but quickly realized I was missing the creative side, leading me to graphic design. At the same time, my passion for public relations grew, allowing me to think strategically about messaging and audiences. Now, I love combining both to create work that is not only visually strong but also meaningful and effective.

At Quinnipiac, I’m a double major in Graphic Design and Public Relations. I’ve gained hands-on experience as Co–VP of Graphic Design for the student-run Agency and through roles in athletics communications and content creation.

As both an athlete and a creative, I’m especially passionate about working in sports and media. Bringing ideas to life in ways that truly connect with people.
